  • Harry Flatters Wins Award

    Monday, 28 January 2008

Last night, (26/01/08) Brecon Motor Club received the award for the best WAMC tarmac championship rally in 2007 for the SGC Printing Harry Flatters Rally. The event was held last August on the Sennybridge military ranges and also formed part of the MSA HRCR British Historic Rally Championship. The club is delighted to have won this award and will be working in 2008 to further improve their standards.

This is also an opportune moment to thank everyone in the club who helped to make the day a success. Thanks must also go to everyone who turned up on the weekend, rallying is a sport reliant on volunteers.

    Red Kite

    Sunday, 20 January 2008

Two crews with allegiance to Brecon Motor Club were out on the Red Kite but it must be said that one was entered under a different club. Dai 'Block' Jones and Glyn Price appeared to be enjoying themselves despite Glyn giving Dai a tour of the countryside between the stages! They hauled the BMW round to take 31st overall on a very wet and slippery day which used Crychan, Halfway & Cefn Llwydlo. Brecon MC next time boys!

Bob Gibbons and Stuart Cardell WERE under the Brecon MC banner and had a steady day blowing out the cobwebs on the way to second in class in the usual historic Escort.
